Lantern Parade
We just had a Lantern Parade last December 3. I didn’t know that I’m actually joining as a participant for the street dance. Years ago, during festivals, I just stayed beside the streets and watched those colorful costumes and props of the street dancers who gracefully moved their bodies in the middle of the street. Never would have thought I’d be one of them. Our parade was a little different. After all, it wasn’t really a “festival”. I thought maybe it was just a parade for the coming-so-soon Christmas. Together, with the 8 other schools (that makes 9 with our school), we acted as one to represent our University and at the same time, there was a competition between our schools. It’s really fun and a great experience. The feeling when those street watchers were cheering for our school (School of Engineering and Architecture) is just so… awesome. I smiled the whole time.
In the end, our school ended up being the 1st runner-up. :)
Since we won a place, we’ll have to dance again. Not so sure if it’ll still be a parade. Looking forward to it. <3

Kaayyy! Just caught the latest episode of Fairy Tail. I take back what I said of it being corny. The anime is great. I won’t mind catching up with the latest chapter of the manga. Naruto is still on my list, I won’t stop until the story’s finished. Tehee.
